Heya Fellas!

Hope winter is treating you well this year. With holidays coming in I am bringing you a very healthy and delicious recipe made from dates, almonds and cocoa. You can use other nuts such as hazelnut, peanut, walnut etc as well. Since I am not a fan of too many ingredients at a time I just stuck to almonds.

Date almond balls are perfect to go for when you are hungry between meals that way you wont stack upon extra carbs from junk food likely chips and soda. This is also a suitable dessert for people on a low carb diet with a limit of 100gm/day. Each ball contains around 12g of carbs. This is a very easy no bake recipe which can be prepared in not time just by assembling ingredients into a blender and then rolling it into balls.

Before I discuss the method, I would like to highlight the key benefits of this recipe:

1) Dates aids weight loss since they contain fibre and are very good for your metabolism.

2) Dates are good for heart and contains iron which is very good for anemic patients. They also helps in fighting cancer and very good for pregnant ladies.

3) Almonds contains low level of carbs hence they help in lowering blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol.

4) Almonds are rich in vitamin E and contains antioxidants which are good for your skin.

5) Coconut is rich in iron and zinc and very good for your hair.

6) Cocoa is a mood elevator, rich in calcium, iron, magnesium and antioxidants.

After reviewing such great benefits I am sure you would like to give this recipe a try.
