Recipe:

Ingredients:

2 onion

1 tomato

2 cup chole /chickpeas

1 tbsp cumin/corriander powder

1 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp turmeric

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

1 tsp kitchen king

1 tsp chole masala

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp cumin

2tbsp oil

1 tbsp dry fenugreek or kasuri methi

Chopped Coriander for garnishing

Method:

Prepare:

Tomato puree: Take all the tomato and put it in blender and make a puree.

Onion garlic puree: Take one onion and garlic cloves and blend them together into a fine paste.

1) Heat oil in pan. Once hot add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Then add chopped onion and saute until it turns golden brown.

2) Once onion turns add onion garlic puree and saute it for 5-7 minutes. Then add tomato puree and saute for 5 min.

3) Now add all spices and add one cup of water. Cover pan and let it cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame. Cooking for long on low flame can remove the sourness of tomato and enhance flavors.

4) Now add boiled chickpeas and kasuri methi. Mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander.

5) Serve hot. You can serve with paratha, bhatura, puri or roti.
